EDO Obsessions: Chelsea Loves Isabel Marant

November 15, 2011

We hope you’re enjoying getting to know the eDrop-Off staff through our EDO Obsessions posts. A few weeks ago, we featured our marketing manager Erin and today we wanted to see what copyrighter and authenticity specialist Chelsea Lavin is obsessing over.

Chelsea can spot a fake from a mile away, which is not easy to do, especially considering all the counterfeits out there these days. And because of great staff members like her, we can always guarantee the authenticity of everything we sell. Chelsea’s style goes somewhat like this: part urban, mixed with a little bit of edge and a dash of bohemian. She’s never worn an outfit we didn’t like. So what is she obsessing over? Find out below!

The Etoile Isabel Marant sweater is right up my alley.  Isabel Marant’s relaxed style totally speaks my language. This sweater with a pair of boyfriend jeans, chunky heels and the red Chanel bag (see below) is a perfect daytime outfit for me!

I love red handbags. I think they’re the perfect accessory to make any outfit more interesting. So, really, you can’t go wrong with this red vintage red textured Chanel bag.

The trend she can’t get enough of…

Right now I’m really into hi-top sneaker wedges – when they’re done correctly of course. I’ve seen some awful versions, too.  Good thing there’s designers like Isabel Marant and See By Chloe who do these shoes right.

Her favorite recent runway collection…

Givenchy Spring 2012. I love Riccardo Tisci’s style point of view. He takes slightly masculine styles – like street/sportswear from past seasons or tailored suiting from spring ’12 – and makes them look uniquely sexy and feminine.

Artist she’s always listening to…

Jay-Z is my all-time favorite artist. My love for his music knows no bounds. Reasonable Doubt is on permanent rotation in my car. And how awesome is it that Riccardo Tisci designed his and Kanye’s Watch The Throne album and tour merchandise? So awesome.
